If anyone else is dealing with depression (high or low) here are some things my therapist told me to try to boost my brain and my mood:
-Eat Salmon 🍣
-Go outside (be in the dirt) I garden and she said that’s probably been my saving Grace and what’s kept me sane since I’m very high on the depression chart. 🪴 🌻🌸
-Vitamin D12 🥚🍳
-Vitamin D ☀️
-Magnesium 🥑
-Self care 🛁 📖 🪴
-Green foods 🥗🫛🥬🥦🥑
-Berries (smoothies was what she suggested, totally on board) 🫐🍓
-walnuts 🌰
This is something very new to me, getting skills to help and learning when I’m in a depressive state and learning the signs of when Im coming out of it. I learned today that by me starting the laundry process that I shared yesterday is a very good sign that I’m not stagnant.#depression #mentalhealth
